My project of choice is a blue jar with a lid. There is a triangle indentation on the interior of the pot. This piece was constructed by using the slab method. 

This pot was created using the Sgraffito and pinch methods. The writing carved into it says "work hard to achieve you goals". The base and rim of the pot are decorated with dots. This project took about one week to create.

This is an alebrije turtle. Alebrijes are brightly-colored Mexican folk art sculptures. This piece has many vibrant colors. For the smaller designs, I used a pencil to paint on the small details. This project took about a week to complete. The piece can be used as a decorative item.

This piece was constructed by using the coil method. The pot is about eleven inches tall. The base of the pot is six inches wide, while the opening of the pot is four inches wide. This piece is multi-colored. The exterior is glazed bright orange, and the rim of the pot is glazed dark blue. The interior of the pot is glazed with red and white. On top of the red and white glaze, there are specks of blue. This piece could be used as a flower vase. This project took about a week to create.

This box was constructed by using the slab method. There is a symmetrical design imprinted on each of the slabs. For a handle, there is a small ball of clay on the center of the lid. This box could be used as a jewelry box, candy jar, etc. This project took an hour to construct, and 40 minutes to glaze.

This three-footed slab piece is painted with light blue glaze. The designs imprinted on it are stars of various sizes. The inside is hollow, meaning that this piece can be used to contain items. It could be used as a pencil holder, flower vase, etc. This project took me one hour to construct, and thirty minutes to glaze.
